Doctor Britta Hon PT, DPT

Britta is a Physical Therapist and a Board-Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist with 20 years of diverse clinical experience, including the past 10 years specializing in pediatric care. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Concordia University in 2005 and is passionate about helping children build strength, confidence, and independence through movement and play.

Britta’s clinical background includes comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions to support children with a variety of developmental and orthopedic needs. She is an APTA-certified Clinical Instructor and enjoys mentoring and supporting the next generation of physical therapists.

Britta has pursued additional specialized training in several areas of pediatric physical therapy, including:
• Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) – Levels A and B
• Total Motion Release (TMR) Tots – Level 1
• Serial Casting
• Extensive continuing education in the evaluation and treatment of torticollis

Outside of the clinic, family is at the center of Britta’s life! She has been married for 19 years to her husband, who serves on active duty in the U.S. Navy. His military career has taken their family to four different states and even overseas to Italy. They have three children: twin daughters who are high school seniors and a son who is a junior. Their family also includes two doodles who keep life entertaining!

Britta grew up in Crystal Lake, and after years of moving with the military, she is especially excited to be back home and serving the community where she grew up. She looks forward to building connections with local families and helping children reach their fullest potential!
