Scott is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Mental Health Therapist. Deciding to pursue a career as a mental health professional was the first step in an effort to effectively satiate his innate passion for helping others, meeting the unique needs of young people, and positively impacting lives. Scott has found his calling along with a rewarding and transformative work experience. After having achieved his Master of Social Work degree from George Williams College of Aurora University in 2021, obtaining the Qualified Mental Health Professional credential, and procuring his Licensed Social Worker licensure, Scott is working as a therapist for children, adolescents, young adults, and offers parental support sessions.
More recently, Scott has embraced one of his most meaningful roles yet - becoming a father to his young son. This experience has deepened his perspective and further enriches his work with children and families, strengthening his empathy, insight, and connection in the therapeutic process. He is eager to utilize his knowledge, education, and skills to advocate for social justice, influence meaningful change, and help those in need live their best lives.
During his free time, Scott loves spending quality time and going on adventures with his wife, their son, and their black lab Geddi, visiting family and friends, learning about anything and everything, enjoying the outdoors, doing yard work/gardening, and trying new restaurants, while patiently waiting for Halloween (his favorite holiday).
