Jaimi Nelson OTD, OTR/L

Jaimi attended St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA for both her undergraduate and doctorate degree. She completed both clinical rotations at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, within inpatient psychology then cardiac, general medicine, orthopedics, neurology, and oncology units. Her doctoral capstone included research on the transition of children into young adult roles at colleges and entry-level jobs; she interned within a student accessibility center on campus, helping students with ADHD, ASD, and cognitive injuries advocate for their rights and improve performance with coursework. Outside of school, Jaimi has worked within nursing home facilities, in outpatient clinics, and doing home health for kids ages 0-3. During her free time, Jaimi enjoys reading, working out, training and walking her dog, and spending time with friends at concerts, farmers' markets, and movies.
